Cost-Effective and Robust Research for Medium and Smaller Law Firms

As competition in the legal services market intensifies, law firms need to shift from “this is what we offer clients” to “what would you like from us”. Otherwise, law firms potentially risk losing clients to competitors – historic and new players such as banks, supermarkets, and insurance companies.

Client satisfaction surveys are important measures of how well law firms are serving their client base. They highlight strengths and weaknesses and areas where change and improvements are needed, and allow law firms to benchmark their performance over time. In addition, they can identify other client demands and potential new sales opportunities. For example, individual personal injury/conveyancing clients satisfied with your service may then be open to other services such as wills and probate.

IRN’s law firm entry level service offers a cost-effective and robust way to measure client satisfaction with:

• Regular online/email surveys (pre-set questions) to clients at the end of a matter
• Optional branding of the survey under the law firm name, and branded survey URL linked to and from a law firm's web site
• Regular reports of the survey with data and analysis (frequency decided by you)
• Potential benchmarking of results against sector average and practice area average

The above covers the entry level package but we can also offer bespoke surveys, e.g. detailed face-to-face, telephone interviews with clients, client focus groups etc.
